Chugunov Andrey Matveevich - Rector of the Far Eastern State Institute of Arts.


During his stay in rector positions they had achieved good results in the development and improvement of material and training facilities of the university.


Activity Andrey Chugunov involved an innovative international projects in which he spent most of the organizational work as Chairman of the Organizing Committee. Among the most striking - International Competition for Young "Musical Vladivostok" musicians, international competition of young artists "Art Vladivostok".


Over the years, staying Andrey Chugunov in rector FESIA reached a new level of international cooperation. The success and recognition among professionals and the general public got a joint international project with the State Opera of Stuttgart and the Academy of Arts "Don Juan in the Pacific" (2013). The project was implemented in the year of Germany in Russia. It was attended by experts from the opera houses in Germany and Moscow (directed by Alex Ware, conductor Robin Engelen, Ulf Bestlyayn vocalist).


In 2013, The First International Festival of Brass Bands, organized by the Administration of Vladivostok and FESIA, its scale has united thousands of participants and the audience, demonstrating the importance and necessity of this action.


In the same year we passed XX Russian-Japanese musical meetings with the support of the Music Institute of JML Esiro Irino.


Chugunov has been active teaching career, pays great attention to the education of young talented musicians. His students have won international competitions and festivals, "Harbin Summer - 2012" (China); VIII International competition for young musicians (Vladivostok, 2014), the 32nd Harbin Summer Festival - International Accordion Competition (2014), "Prize of Lanciano" (Italy). Among the winners AM Chugunova - both soloists and artistic groups: instrumental trio FESIA and instrumental trio "Orient".


Bright international event - "European Week of Accordion", in which the concerts, master classes Sergio Skappini (Italy), Louis Beyer (France).

Authority of Andrey Chugunov as a performer and teacher allows him to participate in the international competitions: the chairman of the jury in the category "solo performance and chamber ensemble" I and II international competitions bayan accordion in Harbin (China, 2012), a member of the jury at the festival of Russian music in the city of Kanazawa (Japan, 2012), a member of the jury of the 32nd Harbin summer Festival - international Accordion competition (2014), member of the jury of the international competition "Prize of Lanciano" (Italy). With great success in these competitions were held master classes of Andrey Chugunov.
